Summary of the movie is probably this: Rin adopts a demon boy for first half. Then a demon hunter demands him back so he can slay him.

Somewhere in the middle of this, Mephisto does his usual speeches, Arthur and Shura go to a bar, and... NO THEY ARE DOING WHAT TO YUKIO. They broke his arm, what the fuck more do they need to do?!

He looks normal enough in the crane scene, which I assume is somewhere near the end. And having him show symptomes and then turn weird in the finale is something that's been done.

Considering Amaimon is definitely a hamster in the film (can't blame that one on the lighting or camera angles), some part of the anime is being taken into account. Although I am still holding out hope that most of it was Rin's nightmare as a result of bad food.

There's close up of Yukio where you can clearly see that he's rocking pointy demon ears, looking absolutely gorgeous. However, it means that the movie may be a follow up to the anime most of us tried hard to push out of our minds.

It's in the trailer too (I think) at 1.18. But since we see Yukio with a broken arm afterwards, it's possible that it was in the middle of the film after all.

Also, isn't 1.14 a scene from the Phantom Train?

^ Well, the red eyes were in the trailer (0:18, 0:40, 1:01), so I suppose those are real enough.

And yeah, it's a demon. We assume Rin tries to protect it against the Order.
