This chapter literally almost made me cry.

Also, I'm so glad Rin was able to talk to Shiro one last time. And finally, Rin cried after 20,000 years. Now all I need is Yukio crying, and he and Rin hugging and talking it out, and everything will be completed for me.

Edit: This whole time I thought Rin cooked just to cook, but to learn there's a reason and that the reason is for THAT purpose choked me up. I love Kazue Katou.

I wasn't expecting any of this. Jeez, I teared up quite a bit, folks. <3

Edit: That Shiro was the one who taught Rin how to cook, and the reason why destroyed me.

Extra Edit: gokusdonut, hahaha, we both edited our comments to add the same thing!!

Pretty good chapter overall.

So it seems Satan knew where Rin was all along.

Though a key that allows you to travel across space and time and even interact with the past. That is a pretty OP artifact.

Also the way Yukio was holding that rod, was he planning to stab his eye out?

I was expecting Shiro should find a way to block Satan. It's kind of scary that Satan could whisper in his ear for so many years. Anyway, now it seems Shiro didn't really have any plan since he just couldn't really hide anything from Satan.

the way Yukio was holding that rod, was he planning to stab his eye out?
I also think he's stabbing in his eye. But Yukio should know it won't work since Satan can emit blue flame to destroy the rod?

Yeah, that made me crying. Shiro may be respected before, but now he has my full respect.

I was touched not only by cooking reasons, but also by Shiro becoming more human. Humble asking for help, getting tired or even exausted, just worrying about things. Very true thing, I've seen some people going though metamorphosis like that irl.

Now we're back from retrospective arc, I feel it was necessary, even if it was hard, even boring at parts.

Mephisto killed me with his words about Rin's destination. I still wonder what's on his mind. Even without time-space powers he would be unbeatable in poker xd. As for me, he's still Enigma. Dunno he's good, bad or neutral.

OMG, how much I'm waiting for the next chapter!
Ignorance is bliss.

Now we know that Shiro really wasn't trying to make them into weapons. Satan was spying on him the entire time, but what makes this so unfortunate is that Yukio knew and wanted to help him, but Shiro didn't want to shove that kind of responsibility onto him. Might explain Yuki's resentment a little, because he probably could've prevented Shiro's death. Shiro slapped Rin as a shock treatment because Satan was about to possess him during his emotional meltdown (and I highkey hope that Satan doesn't possess him in the next chapter, because Rin is a emotional wreck right now).

Shiro did a good job as a Dad, imo, to say he had no parents, nor examples. He was humbled by so many unfortunate events, but ultimately he just wanted to give the boys a good life. I dunno about anyone else, but the fact that he taught them based on what the boys wanted (Yukio wanted to be strong enough to protect Rin/Rin doesn't wamt Yukio to be afraid of him) rather than force anything upon like we originally thought, really puts me at ease.

I really hope Rin can reach Yukio. What Shiro said about him being kind, generous, and a hardworker, despite his lack of confidence just goes to show you that Yukio isn't a bad person at all. There is good in him, he just can't see it right noe. I'm curious about his lack of appetite. (I need Rin to cook him a meal and for him to cry it out while eating ASAP).

Shirou will need someone else to deliver his message to the Vatican.

"A good way to resist demonic possession is to have a healthy mind in a healthy body. Eat well, sleep well and exercise well. That's the most important! So you should eat too."
Yukio didn't follow his father's advice.

Now we know that Shiro really wasn't trying to make them into weapons. Satan was spying on him the entire time, but what makes this so unfortunate is that Yukio knew and wanted to help him,
-HHHNNNNGGH Yukio knew about Shiro hearing Satan
-Shiro has been hearing Satan on and off and worrying about it THIS WHOLE TIME
This also means, when Yukio started hearing Satan he understood it was the same as what happened with Shirou.

This was a hell of a chapter. I can't believe it was only forty pages.

We're getting a sib confrontation much sooner than I expected. I'm not sure what's gonna happen. Is it going to resolve here? That'd be anticlimactic. I'm hoping Yukio screws this up. Bonus points if Toudou comes back to throw a monkey-wrench into the reunion.

Also, where the fuck is Konekomaru?

Which explains why Yukio just straight-up screamed when he realized Satan was in his eyes. He realized what happened to Shiro was possibly happening to him now.

Yes ... it's been several chapters since Koneko was supposed to be sent to Rin by Mephisto. Since the last appearance of him and Yukio are in the same chapter (113), maybe he was sent to this moment when the twins confront. I also think Yukio isn't willing to resolve the issue that fast, so maybe he'll escape while Koneko accidentally interrupt?

I'm always curious when and how Shiro told Yukio that they were Satan's children. Unfortunately it's still not answered in this chapter. Looks like Shiro does tell him many things, including he was once possessed by Satan. But in this case I find it strange that Shiro still doesn't tell Yukio about anything related to Yuri ...

So Mephisto did send Koneko to the airship, but not at the exact time and place. Wonder if it's because Mephisto intended to have Shima involved, or if it's Mephisto's limitation to locate accurately.

Is it going to resolve here? That'd be anticlimactic. I'm hoping Yukio screws this up.
In the end Yukio screws up, but I feel like Rin equally screws up too. He fails to quickly tell Yukio what he just knows in chapter 120 about Shiro, and that should be his original motivation to meet Yukio immediately.

It's probably because I forgive people very easily. And because I don't like misunderstandings, especially the ones that drag on and lead to conflicts. But I hope they reconcile during or after this fight. And that they will successfully drive Satan out from Yukio's eye.

Also, I don't hope at all this is the end. Earthforge, you say "anticlimactic". But personally, I don't want it to be climactic neither. I don't think this is a final battle at all. They haven't fought any of the antagonistic Ba'al and haven't even met half of them yet. If there's a final battle with Satan, it would be better if he was possessing someone and not just parasitizing someone and basically just be on the sideline of the fight. Also, Shiemi's arc as barely began and I hope both Rin and Yukio will be part of it. Obviously, they can't both be part of it if they don't resolve their fight.

I also think Toudou will get free from the furnace. Karura too.
