I think Mephisto is simply showing Rin what happened through that opening. There's no door to go through, so I'm guessing he's not going to the past with a key.

Edit: Sorry, he already opened the set of doors with the vanishing key, so I think that he is going to the past, or at least going to view it from a third person perspective.

Hmmm..if Rin's going back to the past, I hope he doesn't do anything to change it or interact with anyone from there. It would impact the future tremendously.

Interesting chapter, I don't understand Japanese but I think Mephisto didn't say anything about the secret behind Rin's and Yukio's birth. Instead, he gave him the key and told him to discover it himself? Rin is desperate and Mephisto is trolling him, as expected (ugh that clown -_-). I see, many people start to notice demons, Lightning comments on it and Osceola tries to keep the situation under control just like Shura. Shura's like 'Aghh Mephisto do something about this barrier dammit !!XD' Aww poor thing, I feel sorry for her. Looks like Angel has a problem, I guess it won't be good ... Mamushi takes care of Juuzo's security aww they're so sweet !!<3 It seems that Exwires are ready to go somewhere (probably help with the situation) and they asked Izumo to check on Shiemi's condition. Izumo is bashful hhahah!XD They don't seem to know anything about Rin yet. I can't wait for someone to post the translation! This is so exciting !!^^

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY, HOLD ME DOWN! Rin in exorcist uniform is the MOST beautiful thing EVER! Argh, chapter 100 can't come out any soon! But I'm glad we got to at least see him (those 3 spoiler pics made me worry big time). YES, the moment of truth is behind the corner for real NOW. Please, just be it!

So it's not the same key Mephisto gave to Lightning to go to S13/Asylum. It really must be the PAST itself. I sense a veeeeery long journey it's about to begin! And it'll feel more realistic with Rin "experiencing" it like he's in there. He may meet their mom face to face! Again, this somehow feels like the anime when Satan showed Yukio the past through his eyes/mind. Now it's Rin's turn!

And I'm curious about the title too. We get no Yukio again but apparently this arc is contuining. Part 8-A?! No, wait, what? I'm too excited! Aww!!!

Takara appeared (he was not seen since the party Christmas, oh dear you remember those happy times ??) is it me or Takara is smiling with the news of invasion of the demons? (That's creepy)
