Suggestions for the forum

(This thread is for the forum. For the mainsite, go here.)

As you have noticed, this forum is new, and there’s still a lot of room for improvement. Are there any things that you would like to see done differently? Suggestions that would make the forum better? New ideas you think are worth trying?

Post them here, and together we can make this place even better! :)

Looks good so far! Now the issue is moving people over here. I also wonder if there is a place we could advertise this to other AoEx fans.... I mean I hate to go on other manga forums and try to pry people away but I would still think we should get the word out.
Like deviantart, tumblr, .... and I am not sure where other aoex fans are particularly active.

*ahum* Yes, we should definitely advertise the site. I've got four forums where I can post it, but no deviantart or tumblr, so it would be great if you guys could do that.

Give me a little more time though, I'll see if I can make the link shorter. The current one is a little impractical to remember. :-\

You can now reach the forum by http://www.theblueknight.tk :)

http://theblueknight.tk, http://www.blueknight.tk and http://blueknight.tk should work as well, but I'd prefer if you used the first. I think it's the easiest way to make everyone remember the name.

Alright! Well I am going to be super busy for another week but I'll try to find some dA groups that might advertise us later in October. Or other people might beat me to it. Whatever. There might even be some tumblr groups for AoEx that would post our link too.
But for now I need to catch up on the new chapter. (✪ ‿  ✪)

Here to make a suggestion. When I post something, the site takes me back to the list of threads, so I have to choose the thread again to check if my post is ok. It's not very annoying, so don't bother if it's something not easy to change :)

Another thing is, when I click Quick Reply, the window that appears is four times wider than the page, as if someone above me posted a huge picture or string of hundred exclamation marks.

^ The 'return to topic' is something you can set in your own profile (go to "Profile" -> "Modify profile" -> "Look and layout" -> mark "Return to topics after posting by default").

For the Quick Reply thing, I noticed as well, but I don't know how to fix it. I'll see if I can find some technical people to look at it (if one of you knows anything about computer programming, let me know ^^). If it bothers you, you can select another theme that doesn't have it ("Modify profile" -> "Look and layout" -> "Current theme" -> change) or turn off the Quick Reply function altogether ("Look and layout" -> "Use quick reply on topic display" -> don't show).

I actually found out that one of my favorite Tumblr artists likes the show... So I sent her a link. She probably knows more people who like it. But I really don't like poking my head out in Tumblr. It's just such a scary place.

You just quote the quote with the quote you want to double quote.

As long as you're using the Quick Reply at the bottom of the topic, you can quote posts from the thread itself.

If you're looking at the preview page, you've got a topic summary (= list of previous posts) under the preview box. Use the "Insert quote" button to add quotes to you post.

My suggestions are...

If maybe we could add some fun emoticons hurr... I got a few in my mind....

Also, would it be nice if our post count titles will be related to Ao No Exorcist... Like perhaps, Paladdin for someone with many post counts...
