I got idea reading the German Q&A panel - we haven't got pure discussion of these revelations (although some are discussed on tankouban bonus thread). So here I would like to collect all Q&A of AnE if possible ;33

-I was surprised she thinks to stop at ~25 tankoubans - it is good number that the characters and plot doesn't start to repeat itself/come dull/rushed like other mangas - 60 tankoubans like in one of my fav manga is too much but I would still like the series have more arcs... It has potential and current plot it would be little too short for me ^^"


-So Mephisto and Shiro fans, joy! (Neqtar is going to faint of joy...) their backstory will come and we may see Mepphy in action because she hinted we able to see his heart! (I want to see his tail too)




But the Okumura surname is still open. Did Shiro give it/decide and will it has deeper meaning in the plot? Is it legal in Japan to have neither parents' surname? Well we still has our letter to be send!

I agree that 25 volumes is just too short. This series needs it to indeed be longer..
FMA had around that amount if I remember correctly (too lazy to check) but it was written differently in terms of speed and such...
We have to see Rin get through the ranks, but I don't want to see him forced through quickly because he's the all powerful son of Satan or something stupid....
I don't know. I don't see the room. I see more around 60 as well, but that would take a long time. What is that? 25-ish years? Yeah, as a monthly it'll probably be shortened down.....


I can't wait to see his heart/tail, too!
I'm hoping his tail looks differnt than Rin's or Lucifer's. I feel like he deserves something different.


I'm hoping that get resolved in the manga, but it might be in the twin's interest to not know because maybe they prefer that name to their possible real ones or something...Dunno.

If we look at we're we are now in the storyline (10 volumes in and it feels like the characters are still getting introduced), I feel that 25 volumes isn't enough. Then again, Claymore is around that amount too and it feels long.
Kazue is a good writer, but with how slow the storyline is going now I'm afraid it'll be too rushed if she endes it there.

Yay! Mephisto and Shirou action! I can't wait~ I wonder how Mepphy will look like in his released form.

Yes thx Moon and Wikke for summarizing what I was after!
Nurarihyon no Mago had 4 arcs and 25 volumes and it ran 2007-2013 but it really felt long (like FMA and Claymore you pointed out).  So I hope she doesn't rush in the end (Nurarihyon's last arc was rushed) and takes her time - her plot runs slower than on most shounens but that's what I really like - the characters and other elements has time and feeling!

Apparently he wants to be trans, but everyone just kind of ignores it (Arthur says he doesn't care if he's a man or a woman, and Kazue talks about him with male pronouns).
