Forum downtime & bugs

I've noticed that sometimes the forum will load a bit slow. However, I'm never quite sure if the problem is with the site or with my computer (a lot of things load slowly for me), and I don't know if it's something structural or just the occasional hitch.

So help me out here. If the forum is down/slow, or if you are experiencing other issues, leave a little message. (Just one message will do. Don't post every five minutes. Also don't post if someone else has already reported the problem before you.) If it turns out the downtimes become too common, I'll update to a paid hosting plan go and complain that I'm paying money for this, or consider upgrading to a higher plan if the site grows too big.

Honestly, it's been hideous. I was unable to access this site last week. Kept on getting "connection error". Would a donation box work well to get money to renew the forum server?

I've upgraded to a higher plan, so we should have 99.9% uptime now (starting in 17 hours). If there are any more glitches, do report it, then I will go and complain. I've got the right now that I'm a paying customer. ~_~

Are there any people here who would actually put something in a donation box? If so, I'll ask my technical staff (cough) if it's possible to install such a thing, but it sounds complicated (to do it safely, that is). Alternatively, I can just give you my bank account number.

Nothing dramatic, really, but I might have to upgrade again if the place gets bigger. Plus I'm planning to keep it up for a long time.

Wow, you are paying for the website? Why don't we use free alternatives?

But if you know of any alternatives that work better, feel free to enlighten me. I'm hardly an expert on this, so advice is always welcome.

Question: Has anyone tried posting in the Takara thread recently?

Does it work? Because I'm getting an error message, and I'm not sure if the problem is with the forum or just my account. I already made sure we're running the latest updates.

Apparently the forum acts weird when you use the combinations "pet .boy" and "pet .girl" (without the dots), so try and avoid those.

I'm not sure how to say this, but am I the only one who . . . had problem getting on this site yesterday?

I always typed blueknight.tk in the address bar to get on this web site.
but now if you type this youre redirected to random pages.
I was really worried. I seriously thought it might have got hacked.

anyway, I just found out you can access the site with theblueknight.host-ed.me/forum/index.php

still, whats wrong with blueknight.tk and why is it suddenly not working?

Thankfully, it was just a back-up, and the main link (http://www.theblueknight.tk) still works. You'll just have to type theblueknight.tk for now, then you're good.
