I just love Kato's art.  It's so beautiful and fun.  Makes me wish I was living in Japan.

OMG! I was taking a closer look at the picture, and it looks like Rin's cucumber has a face and tiny arms (as do some of the other vegetables)! Is he eating a cucumber demon?! Wouldn't that be kinda like cannibalism? LOL!

That's why I have asked what he is eating! Hahah poor cucumber, life's unfair.
I really love all the green Kato used for the background (plus Shura's hair make a beautiful contrast), it's somewhat peaceful. Her art is really amazing.

hahaha. it looks nice. I want it to rain here too.

It's not cannibalism, they're not from the same specie, are they?

I don't think Rin and the cucumber can produce offsprings.
Therefore they're not from the same specie.
Unless I'm proven wrong. :3

But that's because that guy who's basically living fire can possess humans.
I'm sure cucumber demons are limited to cucumber.

I don't know how the biological classification of demons works or if it exists at all. But I suppose that, even though it's not biologic, there most be some kind of classification for demons that separates humanoid demons from cucumber demons like humans are separated from cucumber.

If the classification is similar then, they're in the same domain but not in the same specie.

Yeah as we already know there are classification amongst demons like Chino mentioned, Kato has them  sorted out in some of her volumes. All in all, demons could posses a wide range of stuff, from living organisms to inanimate objects (like furniture)
Cucumber demons don't seem that strange knowing there's an earth demon king out there

By the way  I have never seen a curved cucumber before haha.

Actually, many cucumbers are curved. If you grow some yourself many of them are probably going to have a really weird shape. They are sorted away because the stores only want the straight ones D: Poor cucumbers.

I have just eaten a salad with cucumbers.

I am wondering.

Perhaps Amaimon has given some special seeds to Shiemi and they are cucumbers from Gehenna.
