Well, I guess the speculation about Rin faking being taken over by his aggressive side turned out to be false.

Demon!Rin is unsurprisingly doing the same telegraphic punches as Rin.
I'm really starting to wish for Rin to take hand-to-hand combat classes.
Yeah, that sounds more useful for Rin than sword classes. He's getting beaten by someone not known to be a specialist in hand-to-hand combat. Osceola could probably wipe the floor with Rin.
I'm puzzled. Is it reasonable to suffer more from an explosion than three gunshot?
Although Yukio complains Rin isn't listening at all, looks like Rin does understand Yukio's situation more, at least the Satan part.
So ... what would Rin do? People had been commenting that Rin was acting like an idiot or cook instead of a protagonist confronting Satan. Now it's time to see if he can get serious and effectively handle Satan. Or maybe he'll talk to Satan? Knowing the past tragedy, he should has some comments ...
They more or less mentioned the point during their conversation with Yukio, but they failed to precisely focus on the topic, to demand a solid answer, to corner Yukio to a point that he must reconsider his judgement. Rin goes from "talk to me whenever you want to talk" to "we can go home now". Shiemi was like "you have many friends and they are worrying." Bon was "tell me what's wrong." Shima was "talk to somebody, or join Illuminati." Lightning was "what do you want to know so much?" In each case, they either asked about Yukio's (abnormal) behavior, or told Yukio some suggestion/instruction. However, Yukio thinks these talks are meaningless since he thinks he is smart enough and understand his own situation and concludes that he knows the best (or the only) way for his problem.I think the problem is for Yukio, taking help from others especially his brother is a sign of weakness for him. His inferiority complex and his self loathing doesn't let him seek help since he associates asking for help from others with his own weakness. I don't think anyone can reach out to him properly because for him to take help he would believe that proves his weakness and that is something he never wants to see himself as.
Fundamental problem: Yukio didn't consider the possibility that other people might come up with some alternative choice which could be better than what he had decided by his own. Turns out nobody can skip this fundamental problem and reach Yukio directly. That's what I think they should force Yukio to reconsider. Not about character or emotional development, but about utilizing the collective intelligence of his friends and making judgement after discussion.
No idea why Lucifer insists to continue the experiment. Satan on the other hand doesn't seem to care the experiment that much.
I just realized, Satan does take action (sending Shiratori) earlier than either Lucifer or Mephisto finished preparing his body. However, Shiratori (I mean the demon possessed him) was unsure that Rin is the target, which means Mephisto didn't tell Satan the exact position of his demon son. Likewise, Lucifer had to examine Yukio's eye by himself, which means Satan didn't tell Lucifer this connection. Therefore, all three of them don't trust each other. Then we have at least three major players each have their own agenda in the whole story ...
