If his conscious transcends time to the extent that it does - referencing the comment he made to Rin about how he tried letting Yukio go to the past many times and each time ended in a failure - then, it's safe to assume that Mephisto knows exactly what needs to happen in order for everything not to go to splat. His body is under extreme pressure/stress, so maybe this is his last chance to do things the "right" way for the best possible outcome. He knows what to say, when to say it, and how to say it (which makes me wonder about his real personality);

Wow you reminded me a lot about Dr Strange in Infinity War xD “multiple possibilities but humans only survive in one”.
Btw I love your analysis of Mephisto and it seems it’s exactly what it’s happening.

Shiro faltered in front of Satan maybe?
I was thinking about the fact that Rin’s talking to a Samael from the past.
Obviously this means that since the early beginning he knew what would happens till the current storyline.
So he let Shiro to scape those days, in order to find Yuri in the streets... and then push him to make this promise (we’ll see for what, but as Facets said
->rising the twins has a lot of chances)
Is Rin realizing that? I mean, it’s a whole new level of manipulation.

Maybe he possessed Yuri for a moment to impregnate her and left her to live with his creations... we don’t know, but hopefully we’ll find out in a couple of months  (And how did Neuhaus survive?)

And I have this weird crack theory that Yuri is a child of two clones and Lucifer happens to be the genetic donor of one of them.... and that makes him grampy! [internal wince]

What if Shiro is the one who made her pregnant (I cannot imagine Satan doing it  ) and then Satan possessed her to made them inherit the flames during the Blue night?

Not sure if I posted this crack theory before, but after chapter 98 I thought again about it.
Well, the theory is that we haven’t seen the real Yukio power yet.
The flames comes from Satan, and he uses them whenever Yukio is going to die (killed by others or by himself) so we cannot call this flames “Yukio power” bc actually Satan control it.

After the Impure King arc Yukio couldn’t still hear Satan because his mental health wasn’t that bad as now (he still believed in Shiro and in the Order).
Then it would mean that Satan was watching everything since the beginning.
But when everything crumbled, Yukio was “easier” to contact to, Satan had a better connection with him.
Till here everything has sense.

But then we have Lucifer’s quote “I can give you the power you need”
We can interpretate this in some ways:

-Yukio has no demon power, but Lucifer can give him power in some way (I don’t think so)
-Lucifer’s said it bc he wanted to have Yukio on his side, to be able to talk directly with Satan. But actually he doesn’t know the real potential of Yukio

And my crack theory:
-Yukio has a hidden power, but we haven’t seen it yet (and it doesn’t have anything  to do with the blue flames we’ve seen). His power is to be connected with Gehenna/Satan so he has a kind of unlimited power supply. (I like this one, but what misses me is that The flames only appear as a defensive mode, if he had this power, sure it would come out when he lost his nerves during Mephisto’s meeting for example).

But if this is Yukio’s real potential, actually he could surpass Rin easily, but his body would be affected too since he hasn’t had the reborn that we saw in chapter 99.

Omg, I want the true so desperately that I’m thinking about too much posibilites... please Lucifer, tell him everything soon XD

Also I was looking at the raws again and I noticed that one of the people on the #howtofightdemons tag on twitter is saying "Hit them with a Bible!" and I think that's just the greatest thing.

Let's be honest. If there really was an invasion of demons, this video would be spammed all day on Twitter.

Maybe it’s a stupid question, but why Rin has now 2 keys? One is the vanishing key, but the other ?

This is big. How did he fail? How does he expect Rin to fix it? How does his failure presumably tie back to the hidden birth?

Mephisto: This is a parting gift. If you put on the hood, it has the same effect as the camouflage poncho.

Parting gift... Like, just for this journey? Or is this some last gift to Rin? I'm actually worried... about Mephisto.

Okey then I’m not the only one who see some kind of sadness in his eyes

It seems that the chapters 'Beyond the snow' will be divided into parts 8 -a, -b, -c ... I wonder how far it will go.

But well, it’s better to wait a bit more and have an entire chapter explanation.
I found weird the title too...“part 8 A”  are you serious?
But then I thought it could has sense if Kato wanna stay in the same Day and Time for some chapters but with different points of view.
This can give us an idea of what’ll happen in this volume

Shiemi asks Izumo about Rin and Izumo answers her that Mephisto said he's gonna get confined?

Edit: maybe she meant Rin is under Mephisto's custody atm or something like that. (argh, my bad)

It’s true, 監禁 is related to imprison or confine someone... but maybe she says it because they still don’t know which Rin is he now, “human” or demon (they two don’t know he has waked up and everything )

Concerning horns, he does not seem to grow them as Madow has imagined. Anyway, nice cover and I can't wait for the new chapters, I'm so excited!^^

I’m not sure but I see the horns in this cover more defined. Like a silhouette of the real ones.
Actually I’d love to see Rin with big horns, and maybe Kato is sending us a clue...
