-SO we open with Yukio remembering what Shura said ("We're going home to the Order!" "I want to help you!") and thinking that it doesn't make sense (Go home? Help me?)
-Rin is here, Yukio comes quietly buuuuuut also notices a gun that one of the guards dropped...can't imagine that'll be relevant later.

-Amaimon is helping???
-Apparently the kids were sitting around trying to think of ways to make it look like Yukio just walked out on his own, and Belial and Amaimon showed up on Mephisto's orders and offered to provide an excuse.
-So now we have Amaimon standing in the rubble like FOOLISH MORTALS! I HAVE, BY COMPLETELY RANDOM COINCIDENCE, COME TO THIS EXACT SPOT TO RAIN TERROR DOWN ON YOUR WORLD WHILE MY BROTHER IS AWAY!
-He is very clearly reading from a script.
-He also thinks that this is a waste of time ("Wouldn't it be faster just to kill them all?") and eventually gets bored and wanders off to watch the juicy twin drama.

-Shima says the exwires have saved him some trouble, talks to someone on his headset, and thinks "Bon, Koneko, I guess it's actually goodbye this time"

-Yukio follows Rin for a little while but then just stands there.
-He says he knew Rin would come rescue him at some point, though he came even faster than he expected.
-"Why do you always save me? We were born the same, why did we turn out so different?"
-

-Shima is here with a shiny helicopter! 
-He's like eeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyy Sensei I figure you can't stay here in the Order, right? Riiiiiight?
-Aaaand Yukio's actually interested this time.

-Rin's like YUKIO WTF
-And Yukio's like, turns out the Order's no different from the Illuminati anyway
-Tells Rin a quick version of what he's learned
-Focuses in on Shirou being experimentally created and raised as an exorcist.
-Who knows if someone like that even has a normal human mind?
-He was raising us as weapons. We were just tools.
-Rin is like "NO THAT'S NOT TRUE"
-Maybe for you, Rin. You were special.
-But I was weak. Defective. Probably just an eyesore to him. Not that it matters anymore.

-Rin is like, what are you saying?
-He thinks: you were a hard worker and you loved to study, you were tall, you were good-looking, you were nice, all the girls loved you, but you were humble, you were smart, you were gonna be a doctor...
-Out loud, he says: But you were perfect! Unlike me! And me and the old man were so proud of you!
-Where are you even looking? Clean off your glasses and look harder!
-Yukio says he doesn't care anymore. He has no attachment to this place now. He turns to leave.
-Rin is like AW HELL NAW and Yukio points the gun at him.
-"Sorry, Nii-san, but I want to get stronger."
-Rin thinks: Oh right. He's a hard worker, he loves to study...
BAM
-...and he hates to lose.
-Yukio: "I don't need your help anymore."

-The exwires see this, leading to GENERAL PANIC
-Amaimon stops Shiemi from going to help, Shiemi is like MOVE YOUR ASS AMAIMON (okay, she didn't say it like that) but he doesn't move.

-Rin is lying there like, heh, good one, the old nutritional capsules again right? Hahaha okay yeah I can't stop bleeding WTF MAN YOU ACTUALLY SHOT ME
-And he thinks, maybe I'm the one who needed to look harder.
-And he totally shrugs off what looks like three actual bullets and stands up and goes AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

-And there's one last sort of funny moment where Shima is like ...gimme a break, I didn't sign up for berserk Rin... before getting utterly wasted by the second Okumura twin in what, 12 hours?

-Rin, apparently OUT OF HIS MIND WITH EMOTIONS, charges Yukio with the sword.
-Yukio thinks about all the stuff Rin just said.
-And then says, no, YOU were the perfect one.

-AND KURIKARA BREAKS ON SOME KIND OF EYE FORCEFIELD AND EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE

So...yeah.

Ah it makes me feel Atleast a little bit more calm knowing he used a nutritional supplement bullet instead of a real one @~@ ahhh I can't wait until the Viz translation. Thank you very much for your work facets!

So we now have a broken sword and a Yukio going into the Illuminati, Mephisto is in no condition to fight, azazel is a rock and amaimon can't go against any high level demon kings. There is nothing that can stop Lucifer and his plans at this point

Given the sheer amount of time, Renzo dying in the future is being brought up both comically and seriously, I am feeling that Renzo might indeed die in the future. Doesnt help that when it comes to killing of one of the exwires, Renzo seems to be an almost ideal candidate. He doesnt have any integral role in the exwires group and still has enough connections with atleast two of them that his death will leave some impact. Not to mention him dying as a heroic sacrifice would finish his character development from someone who runs away from his problems to someone heroically confronting a threat and willing to die for his goals. Also if he manages to somehow transfer Yamantaka to Konekomaru then Konekomaru gets to become stronger and get development in the positive direction. The only problem with this is that I find Renzo to be more interesting and enjoyable than Bon and Konekomaru who I cannot enjoy no matter how much I try which means that a character that i find more interesting gets killed off giving development to two characters i cannot bring myself to be invested in. Shame.

Actually, there is a way for this to work out, and we, Rin, Shura and Shima are already familiar with it.

Step 1: call Yukio.

Step 2: have Yukio convince Yamantaka to shift the ownership to Konekomaru through his trademark smart-talk ability before Shima dies.

The only problem is I doubt Yukio would be willing to appoint -Konekomaru- as the next owner, not to mention he could dissuade Yamantaka using pretty smart reasonings. Like, "I'd made GOOD use of your ability, unlike Shima" *cough* We can guess the rest.

Konekomaru and Yukio have shown no tamer ability, and that is essential in order to make a contract with a familiar, especially a high level one like Yamantaka. But I would like to see Yamantaka try to get a new tamer, someone with a lot more power and discipline than Shima.

Yukio has a contract with the naiads if you remember. And Suguro was also shown to have no tamer ability but was still able to form a contract with Karura.

Wasn't he able to form a contract with Karura because of his blood? I mean his heritage, Karura was passed on to the High Priest and Bon is the next one. 

The same applies to Izumo though. The foxes are bound to Izumo through a contract with the inari clan through an inter clan marriage.

I can not remember if it's explained when exactly did Izumo start summoning Uke and Mike (for all I remember Tamako sent them to do chores, she could send them to protect Izumo and her lil' sis at school)
Bon's contract started when he accepted his dad's contract. I'd say Karura is more like Kuro, neither Rin nor Shiro summoned Kuro he is only bound by idk friendship is it? catnip sake? I would say that Bon is under the same conditions as Izumo but since Karura's original contract isn't valid anymore I have to disagree.
I wonder if knights that have demon possessed blades have inherited familiars?

I knew that Kato wouldn't resolve Yukio's and Rin's discussion in this chapter! Although it frightens me the way that they are avoiding the topic once again...
Thanks for the summary Facets!

-Shima and Konekomaru were both jealous of each other growing up.
Shima: if I were you, I'd have left the Myouda and gone to live on my own with nothing holding me back
Koneko: Well if I were you, I would have trained to be a super strong fighter with Yamantaka and protect everyone!
Both: ...I feel like we got things backwards when we were born.

Ah I always thought that there was something between those two, am I the only one that still sees some of Koneko's jealousy in the IK arc? I'm pretty sure it is dulled down by now but desires tend to stay, more so when you are near the thing you desire.

Also Yumi looks like the Shima genderbent from the light novel, it is eerie...

This chapter was great! I wonder how many times has Mephisto organized these reunions with these mysterious *cough* demon kings *cough* people?

Wait, so was Mephisto telling about the origins of God meeting man? Or demon? Also the dinner Lucy and Mephisto were having along with guests, anyone else think they may be the demon kings? Considering there was 8 seats, only 1 was missing which could be assumed to be Amaimon.

Huh? I thought there was two chairs missing...

Yotsuba Koiwai from the adorable series Yostubato& acts just like me when I was her age. From walking straight into the neighbors house with out knocking to playing with all the people in the neighborhood! I find it really nostalgic each time I read a new chapter since it's just how I remember my childhood was like. It's silly how many chapters I can say have actually happened to me. Physically though no characters come to mind... I don't remember any characters that have curly hair and random scars around their face. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This has to do with chapter 85.
Silly but what if Shiemi's grandmother worked at the Asylum and both Shiemi and her mom are both from the experiments. Maybe before or during the the Blue Night they escaped. Probably has DNA from Amaimon thus the garden demons easy going nature with Shiemi's grandmother.
