Yukio just beat and mugged the Illuminati. Straight up stole their stuff and sicced two OP familiars on them. The Morinas contract came back in that way. And he even taunted Lucifer to his face.
Homare confirmed to be Saburota's daughter.
There's an infinitesimal chance Saburota will crawl from the wreckage. Yes, I do wish for a Yukio v Toudou rematch.
I have no time to talk. I am only here to cry over Toudou. There is a chance he will revive. I want to believe in him. Also the other demon eaters? I wanted to know them.
That saucey look Toudou gives Yukio. His tearful smile. I love him. Omg it was a joke but now I am wrecked. I can only think about him.

« on: December 04, 2018, 07:33:02 AM »Oh.. oooh... this is nice. So many details! Very tempting to get...If you want one it is best to find one now. Because it is calendar, printing is limited. The 2019 ones are 11x17 which is a good size (also easy size to frame). And while the pics will probably be available in scanned forms or her next(?) art book, they have a lot of nice details which would not show in an artbook or might be grainy in a scan. They are a little pricey when shipping is added on so don't sweat it if it is not a good financial choice.

Ditto the sentiment. I like discord for small conversation groups but I vastly prefer this site for all our AoEx needs. Everything is so organized and easy to follow. Discord with that many ppl is kind of a mess. Plus sort of sloppy organization on that group. It is hard to have these kinds of long blocky paragraph discussions and reaponses on discord.
Also hey yes I am here. I hoped officials might be out but they are not and EarthForge is taunting me with Toudou. So I skimmed fanscans.
Some 5+years ago I thought I was a fool for putting my interest in Toudou but he has not been forgotten yet. Thank you Katou. Merry Toudoumas, everyone.

I have been gone for a long time for various reasons. Nothing dire but just other stuff takes precedence.
Wow blessed with anime Toudou and then more flashback Toudou. Fantastic.
I don't comment because I feel increasingly at a loss for words. Not specific to the comic but maybe just a bit more closed off. I will to lurk and comment more. Hope we all get through the holidays together.

I guess I should be more paranoid but at this point I've practically given up. I mean, I'm not at all happy about recent security leaks with various apps/companies, but I've come to expect a certain amount of ad based spying. Also I like to imagine someone whose job is to spy on me and they have to wade through all the deep anime/fujoshi bullshit.
I did look at a One and Huawei a little but I've never actually met someone with one. I have started seeing people with Google Pixels and they like them.

« on: March 10, 2018, 08:51:19 PM »Hey guys, I didn't come here to announce something special or anything but I had the urge to brag about my birthday present that I got today from my dear parents!^^ I got the new Huawei P9 lite mini with 5.0 HD display, 2 GB RAM and 13 MP Snapdragon 425 camera in golden color, the best mobilephone ever! They also bought me a nice case cover and new headphones! I think I'm the happiest person on entire planet Earth!XD ♡♥♡♥Oooh neat. Do you like Huawei phones? I've never actually known anyone to own one. Since the dawn of smartphones I've only had apple. Other than mp3, smart phone and tablet, I really don't prefer apple though. In fact, my phone contract ends this year and I'm thinking about switching. Maybe to Google? Everyone around me either has apple, samsung or google. And when my tablet breaks I'll probably switch to Amazon fire. I really just use my tablet for watching shows, occasional reading.
Mostly I want a new phone because my current camera is not that great. Most desired is great rear and front camera. Preferred decent speakers, small screen, headphone jack.

Hmm ok I got some opinions too but I’m definitely behind on the manga and a little behind on the anime.
I do like it but I’m starting to worry about it being overhyped. As I get older I do get a little bit more bored with shows and manga that are just hitting every beat of shounen manga. AoEx occasionally has this problem too. But boy, ... As far as the story progression goes MHA is not nearly as satisfying as I expected. And it just employs some tropes I don’t like.
But also the big positives: The characters are all delightful. They have a lot of charm and a lot of the cast feels distinct from the other students. I’m also a huge sucker for the Todoroki angst backstory and his aloof character type. Also Bakugou being an asshole because he’s an asshole is great. I bought so many doujinshi for mha in Japan and even went to a mha cafe so some of the tropes and characters still got me.
I won’t go into my problems or just preference of tries I don’t like here. After all I have sunk money into that as well so I don’t want to seem to be complaining or ruining your fun! But by far, just following every shounen manga story beat is a little to safe for me. I heard about mha long ago and had really high expectations for a fun/crazy style and creativity. So I was a little let down with how comparable it is to so many other properties.

The two part OVA (birth+ Silene) is the one you want I think. I assume the Amon OVA is actually based on the devilman/amon manga! Another retelling? I think... There are so many manga adaptions! New Devilman, Grimoire, Devilman Lady (plus an anime of that as well). I’ll try and read those manga when I have time to see how thy compare. At least the cover art looks decent.

I had seen bits of the original manga but Crybaby was my first experience start to finish. I can’t say much for the quality of the other spin offs and remakes but people praise the OVA highly as a good adaption of the manga. I enjoyed watching crybaby first. Both the manga and crybaby hit almost all the most important beats. Crybaby has added character depth and modernizes, inclusion more sex and violence. Watching crybaby first made reading the manga a more emotional experience. But if you read the manga first you might get more surprises by what is updated in Crybaby and there are some parts towards the end that it the manga adds more detail to. Honestly they’re both so short (10ep, 5volumes) you can binge it easily.

Yeah. Even for a precocious child I wouldn’t recommend Crybaby. Maybe classic devilman anime or ova first? I wasn’t into nudity or sex in anime at that age. Even thinking back to some books and manga I read when I was younger, my perception was so different than it was when I grew older. I read NGE at 14 versus finally watching the anime at 20 and so much had changed in how I viewed story telling.
Not that people have to analyze manga but devilman, including crybaby, are a great example of literature. In a way there is so much to dissect but the themes are so universal. Love, fear, sadness, empathy, betrayal, revenge.
But lol I would be too embarrassed to watch it with my parents.
Ahaha weight loss. Even though it is a goal to lose some weight and reevaluate my diet and exercise I think the way I carry my weight now is very different than I was carrying it back in college when I gained weight. For example I still get a little pushy and stupid boob growth but I don’t see it as much in my face anymore. But for real I greatly prefer having a flat chest. I swear I am done with wireless bras forever. Or whatever! I’m trying to positively justify my constant health quest journey even if I don’t get back to my preferred body.

Yeah I recommend classic devilman manga (being reprinted for sale sometime this spring in Us), devilman crybaby on netflix and the old devilman ova. apparently the original anime (not ova or crybaby) was made simultaneous to the manga but doesn’t really include the meat of the story.
the songs and characters and animation,... crybaby is seriously a new classic for me.
And same. I’m the small one which has its perks and cons. Even though I’m still smaller than most people, when I get chubby it is more apparent. It would be nice to lose some weight and tone my body more for cosplay. Also I was creaking up to the weight I reached at my heaviest and most depressed so I don’t want to be at that place again.

Ya’ll watch Devilman Crybaby yet? It was amazing but not suitable for everyone. Also read the original manga, can’t wait to buy it when it is rereleased this spring. I want to read and watch the spin offs too. It’s always been on my radar but I agree it is rightfully a classic and inspired a lot of modern classics. And if you are wondering it is full of nudity, sex, grotesqueries and violence/gore. Even the manga which is considered tame by modern standards is still brutal.
And also NY resolutions,... not really a resolution but I’m trying again to get fit. I started going to the gym last year but I need to be more regular with it. I’m also trying to lose a bit of weight and eat healthy but I’ll never have a perfect meal plan figured out. But I am taking a break from soda which is the killer for me. I can go cold turkey but I can’t limit myself to small amounts ><

I’m just here to scream and shout with joy about finally seeing more of the illuminati from the inside. And Toudou Homare? Hmm but I still wonder what her exact relation is to Toudou Saburouto. Will we have to call them by first names now? Can I call him Toudou sensei again? <3 I can’t wait for Shima, Toudou, Lucy and Yukio adventures. Kind of unexpected but welcome Satan only has one eyeball and hasn’t fully hijacked Yukio’s body.
(busy life stuff can’t read or write much on the forum atm. also as much as i like reading both official jp and eng chapters most raw sites don’t load well for me so it’s better to wait for the full chapter in viz).
